Reina's POV

The next day, I talked to Dad on the phone. Before I did, Rowan had already given me the details of what the discussion would be the previous night. "What do you say, Reina? Do you think that's a good idea?" My dad asked.

1 stared at the ceiling for no reason and looked back to Rowan who was resting against the wall Close to me.

He was shirtless and gosh, does he look scrumptious too? My eyes ran down his body and I bit my bottom lips. When my eyes met his, he raised an eyebrow and I winked at him.

"Reina, are you there?" My dad called from the other end of the ne.

"What?" I cleared my throat once I realized I sounded different. Sorry, I was distracted by something."

"Do you think it's a wise decision to pay a nice visit to your pack

I could hear the sarcasm in his words when he said "nice".

"It's not my pack, Dad, and yes, it's a wise decision," I answered.

"Don't worry about that. Rowan and I would work out a plan and he'll carry you along as we do that. You're more familiar with the place than we are so we'll need all your help,"

"You can talk to Ella too, I'm sure she'll be more than willing to help. I told him. Ella had somehow gotten Rowan's number from my dad and we've kept in touch.

She'd called me a day after my dad left and we cried over the phone for minutes. She didn't tell me anything and I didn't say anything too. We understood each other's pain.

He gave the phone to Liam and we talked for a while. He asked to visit and I promised I would come get him once school days were over. I asked about Lyala and he told me she went to talk her new crush.

We ended the call after a while but I kept staring at the phone. I never had that kind of relationship all my life and never did I assume I could have something like that,

Rowan threw the door open and it was Mika.

Her eyes searched across the space before they settled on me.

"I'm here to see Reina," she told Rowan and he allowed her in.

"Hi Reina," to my greatest surprise, she hugged me. I'm sorry about yesterday Reina. I shouldn't have reacted like that,"

Tve been living in denial all these years. My mom knew something was different about him right after they mated. She stayed because she thought she could change him. She didn't go much into details but she said, he's more horrible than I knew him to be. Mika stared at us both.
