EPISODE 16
THEME: Mission Possible
(Alpha King Sky’s Point Of View)
Mia groaned in pains when I lifted her up in my arms in bridal style and walked out of the cell towards the tunnel. “Bear with me for a while.” I said in a tight whisper and she nodded. I uttered a profanity when I remembered that I didn’t ask Gamma Albert how we would return back to the pack.
“Is everything okay?” Mia questioned
“I didn’t remember to ask Gamma Albert how to bring us back to the pack.” I answered.
“Don’t worry.. just set me down…” She said.
“Why? I am not leaving without you.” I stated.
“Just me put down.. they will be here soon.” She panicked and I obeyed.
“Look! It is the alpha king!” Someone screamed.
Mia held my hand in hers and she began to chant some strange words. A familiar voice which I recognized yelled out at the warriors. “Get them now!”
I looked up to see the royal blood and I gritted in anger. “I will make you pay!” I mouthed.
“Don’t let them go!” The royal blood whose identity was now revealed snarled at the warriors.
The warriors rushed at us but couldn’t get to us because of the boundary Mia has just created. My mate was right when she had said the enemy was someone close and dear to me. These words echoed in my mind. All of a sudden, Mia and I disappeared into the thin air.

It was surprising how we appeared at the boundary of Crescent Pack, the same spot where I had first met the gamma. “We should head back to the pack now, your members are waiting.” Once again I made an attempt to carry her but Mia side stepped me.
“Thank you for saving my life but you should head back to your kingdom now.” She said.
‘I think she is trying to push us away.’ My wolf said to me.
“No, I am not leaving here without you.” I objected.
Mia shook her head in disagreement. ” No.. no.. this isn’t about me.” She said.
“Listen to me, I am sorry I tried to shut you out the first time we met. Mia, I wouldn’t have forgiven myself if something bad had happened to you.. If that bastard had touched you.” There was a look of sincerity on my face.
“Well he almost did.. but… I begged him… with a promise that you would come find me.” Tears slipped down her cheeks.
“Mia.. you were right about what you said. The enemy is someone close to me.” I said.
“Do you know him?” Mia asked
“Yes.” I nodded.
“That is why you should leave right now… your kingdom is in danger. He planned to take away your throne tonight, so if you don’t want to lose it.. leave right now and save your kingdom.” Mia delivered the message in a rush.
“Mia… to be honest.. I don’t want to leave you. I am your mate so I have to protect you.” I just want to help her back to the pack and fulfill my promises to the members of bringing back their alpha alive.
“Protect your kingdom.. first and I will be fine.” She said.
“No, you are not fine. Look at yourself… you are damaged! I am going back with you to the pack!” I yelled before realizing that I shouldn’t have done it.
A hurtful expression crossed her face. “You should leave… save your kingdom or else he would -” she stuttered.
Seeing her battered face is hurting my wolf deeply. “Let him take it! I don’t care!” I shouted.
“No! You can’t let that happen! The people of Donia needs you to fight for them! That is why you have to go now!” She screamed back at me.
“And so what is an alpha king without a Luna?! Or even his Queen? He almost killed you!” I snarled with a bared teeth.
“Yes… he almost did but he wouldn’t have done that because he wanted me! He said he would marry me as his mistress once he have the Donia throne. You.. can’t let him have the throne.. and marry me too.” She cried.
My wolf became angrier. “He said that to you?” I asked.
“Yes.. he said a lot of things.. but thanks to moon goddess that you showed up to save me.” She sobbed.
“Damn it! I’ll destroy him!” I grimaced.
I tried to think things in my head, remembering the words of Gamma Albert and then this real enemy. Then it became clear to me that truly alpha Zion was never the enemy! My own blood and close friend wanted my throne and even planned to marry off my mate for himself.
“You have to go before he succeed! I don’t want to be his mistress.” She pleaded.
I leaned closer to my mate and cupped her face in my hands. “Listen to me Mia, he won’t take you as his mistress. You are my mate.” I grounded out with fierce protectiveness stirring within me.
“Alpha king!” Suddenly I heard Cullen’s voice in my mind.
“I have to talk to the general for a minute.” I informed Mia before moving away.
“I have been trying to reach you! We found the enemy!” Cullen exclaimed. “Alpha king it is-”
“Old Ben.” I interrupted him.
“My alpha king, how did you find out?” Cullen asked.
“I will tell you later. Is the Illusion still intact?” I asked.Material © NôvelDrama.Org.
“Yes the witch renewed it.” Cullen answered.
“So how did you find him?” I requested.
“Someone tried to murder me in your chambers in the midnight. I captured him and tortured him until he confessed that Old Ben sent him to murder the alpha king.” General Cullen explained.
Eunuch Cole’s plan really worked. With the powers of illusion, Cullen looked exactly like me. I had picked Cullen because he was skilled and a trusted friend to me so in case anyone tries to kill him he would be able to fight back.
“My alpha king, I feel there are more people working for him.” General Cullen said.
“Yes.. I found his accomplice.. find him and throw Old Ben in the darkest dungeon in the palace!” I ordered.
“Yes my alpha king!” Cullen replied.
“And prepare the men for war because his men will be close to the city gate soon. And Cullen please protect the citizens of Donia Kingdom.” I said finally.
“Yes, alpha king!” Then Cullen growled out before I disconnected the link.
My wolf didn’t want to leave our mate in this state but I also have to protect my kingdom.
“Is everything okay?” Mia asked.
“Yes, I have ordered for the arrest of old Ben and my men are preparing for war.” I replied.
“They still need you.” Mia muttered weakly.
“Mia, promise me that you will testify as a witness in the Donia Court once I capture my enemy.” I whispered.
Mia nodded in agreement. “Alright.” She said
“Why aren’t you healing?” I questioned.
“My wolf is weak…”
“He injected you with silver?” I asked again.
Mia looked away and nodded. “No, every pain I am feeling right now is to pay for what my father did to your mother.”
I shook my head in disagreement. “I have forgiven him so you don’t have to punish yourself for your father’s deeds.”
Alpha Zion was forced to join the elders table to save his daughter but I couldn’t tell Mia about it.. not now. Gamma Albert is the best person to tell her everything.
“Mia, heal with your powers, revive your weak wolf before it causes a permanent damage.” My voice pleaded with her.
Mia shook her head in response. But I know she won’t do it. She would rather bear the pain and heal slowly. “Stop being stubborn Mia.. please heal yourself.” My eyes continued to plead with her.
“Okay…” She mumbled.
“I have something to say.” I said.
Mia looked up at me. “Once all this is over, I want you in my palace.” I added.
“You want me…” Mia’s voice broke off as tears streamed down her face.
“Yes.. yes Mia.. I want you to be my Luna. Be my Queen and I am sorry it took me a long time to say this to you.” I apologized.
“Are you sure about this?” She asked me.
I covered the gap between us “Yes Mia Zion, I accept you as my mate and I want you to be my queen.”
More tears streamed down her cheeks. I knew my wolf won’t forgive me if I didn’t tell Mia what was on my mind before leaving for my kingdom. I tilted her jaw to look straight at me and slowly by lips landed on Mia’s and she gasped in shock. It took her a second to adjust and kiss me back and I could feel our wolves connecting again.
I had to let her go when she groaned in pains after my hand moved to her waist. “I am sorry.. I didn’t mean to..”
She flashed me a small smile. “No.. no.. I am fine.. it is just a slight pain there.” She said.
“What exactly did he do to you?” I mumbled.
“We don’t have time…” She said.
“Yes.. Yes.. you are right.” I leaned in and kissed her forehead.
“I will be waiting for you.. please be safe.” Mia embraced me.
