Chapter 1214
"And what about you?" Theodore countered. "Rose, when will you finally see what kind of people are around you? Sebastian's two-faced, pretentious, and full of lies. Justin has blood on his hands, with numerous enemies. He's like a ticking time bomb, and both of them will only bring you disaster." Rosalie sneered. "And how much disaster have you brought me? Do you think the mental torment you've caused me isn't enough?"
Theodore gave a bitter smile. "Rose, do you want me to die to make up for the harm I've caused you?"
"No, I just hope you won't bother me anymore. I have my own life now. Whether it's good or bad, it has nothing to do with you. Once upon a time, Grandma was the last connection between us, but now that she's gone, we have nothing left."
She avoided Theodore's gaze.
"You should go now."
Theodore clenched his fists. "If this is what you want, then I understand. I'll stay away from you in the future and won't bother you again, because, as you said, we have nothing left."
With reddened eyes, Theodore turned and left.
The moment the door closed, he staggered slightly to the side, nearly falling over. He had to lean against the wall to support himself. He raised his hand to clutch his chest, which felt like it was splitting with pain, and walked forward in despair.
When he reached downstairs, he saw Justin lifting Steve high. Steve was laughing happily, and Theodore vaguely heard the child saying, "Dada!" Theodore felt as though someone had poured salt on his already broken heart. How many fathers had this child acknowledged?
Theodore clenched his fists, a burning jealousy igniting in his chest. He was furious, but deep down, he knew the real reason for his anger: no matter how many fathers the child acknowledged, he was never one of them.
He remembered that when he held Steve previously, Steve had also called him "Dada." At that moment, he truly felt like Steve's father.
But... Was Steve really Sebastian's child? Why wasn't Sebastian putting more effort into visiting Steve?
Lost in thought, Theodore didn't notice when Justin had walked over with Steve. Only when Justin stood before him did Theodore snap out of it. "Did you two finish talking?" Justin asked.
"Justin, you know how dangerous you are. Why do you still want to stay around Rose? You'll only drag her down! I'm not saying this out of jealousy. I'm just worried about her safety."
In Melrine Theodore thought he had solved the problem and that Justin would voluntarily leave. He thought Justin was a man of honor, but now, he had followed them to Blencalgo.

"You don't need to explain why you're doing this," Justin said calmly. "This is Blencalgo. My enemies aren't here. As long as you don't speak of it, no one will know m here."
"And what about the future? Do you plan to stay around Rose forever?"
"Stay around her?" Justin smiled lightly. "You really have a way with words. What's it to you if I stay by her side?"
Theodore was furious, his face darkening.
Steve stared at Theodore and suddenly extended his hands. "Dada, hug."novelbin
Seeing Steve's actions, Justin was a bit surprised.
Theodore's heart swelled with joy, and he almost stepped forward to take Steve into his arms. But suddenly, he thought of something and withdrew his hand.
Justin awkwardly smiled. "This child calls anyone Dada.' It's probably because he doesn't live with his biological father."
Theodore forced a smile. "Perhaps. I'll go now." Staying any longer would suffocate him.
As Theodore was about to leave, Justin noticed Steve shifting in his arms, seemingly trying to go toward Theodore.
After hesitating for a few seconds, Justin said, "Wait a moment."
