Chapter 2 Not Brody’s Child
“Eva, I’ve heard you are pregnant!” Sheila suddenly appeared in front of Eva.
Eva calmed down and said, “It’s none of your business.”
“Of course. I’m wondering who the child’s father is. Dad probably doesn’t want it to be born.”
“You are talking nonsense! It is Brody’s child! Before Brody left two months ago, he spent one night with me.” Eva was furious.
Sheila sneered, crossed her arms, and looked down at Eva, saying, “Brody loves me, and he spent that night with me at home. You should have used contraception when making out with someone else, so how dare you blame it on Brody! You ain’t his type at all!”
“That’s impossible!” It dealt such a heavy blow to Eva.
“If you don’t believe me, you can ask Dad. All the servants at home saw Brody that night.” Sheila looked at Eva, with an evil smile playing on her lips.
When Eva returned home in despair, Morgan had just finished a call from the hospital. He was in a fury.
“Dad, I didn’t make out with any other man. This is Brody’s child! Brody was with me on my birthday. We…”
To Eva’s shock, Morgan turned angrier. “How dare you covet Sheila’s boyfriend. Shame on you! You must have an abortion tomorrow!”
“Dad, Eva is too weak to have an abortion. Otherwise, she might not be able to get pregnant anymore. After all, it’s a child, and we can afford it,” Sheila hurriedly said.
Since then, Eva was completely cut off from the outside world by Morgan. She couldn’t get in touch with anyone, including Brody.
Eva couldn’t believe that Brody plotted against her. On her birthday, she received a text message from Brody, asking her to meet in Room 1203 in the hotel.
Eva did everything she could to contact Brody but in vain. Please check at N/ôvel(D)rama.Org.
As five months passed, her belly got bigger and bigger. Because of this, Eva suffered from prenatal depression. She tried to commit suicide many times but was stopped by the servants in time.
When Eva was about to give birth, she was skinny except for her belly, and mentally distressed. Without the servants, she might have killed herself due to severe depression.
Morgan sent Eva to the hospital as soon as the due date arrived. Nevertheless, Eva was severely depressed and mentally unstable. When the nurses were absent, Eva left the hospital alone.
Eva was standing dumbfounded in the middle of the road when the nurses shouted at her.
Hearing their voices, Eva looked back.
The next second, Eva was hit by a car.
With a loud bang, Eva was thrown into the air, and then smashed to the ground. Unconscious, Eva protected her belly instinctively.
“This pregnant woman was hit by a car! Hurry up and call the doctor!”
