Richest Mogul 1310

Chapter 1310

Maisy let out a muffled gasp, spitting out a mouthful of blood as her face twisted in agony from the force of the kick.

Maisy was completely stunned–Steven was actually this ruthless.

As she curled into the chair, pain coursed through every part of her body. It wasn’t just where she had been struck; every part of her felt like it had been broken.

“Steven, have you lost your mind? I’m your biological sister. We share the same blood. How could you treat me like this?” Maisy shouted, seething with anger.

She would take the slap and kick as payback for drugging Mona. But she would remember this forever, and neither Steven nor Mona would get off easily.

Her plan to sell Mona had failed this time, but she would ensure she succeeded next time. She was determined to get Mona out of the way.

She just couldn’t stand Mona. Just seeing her reminded her of Skylar, and Skylar was just so infuriating. novelbin

But when Maisy finished speaking, the person who had hit her still didn’t say a word. Instead, he stepped forward and brutally ground his foot down on her face.

“Tell me where you took Mia. After you lured her away, where did you sell her?” the middle aged man, Rex Bird, demanded angrily.

She was shocked to realize the voice wasn’t Steven’s. Her captor was someone else entirely. He demanded to know where Mia Bird was–he had to be Mia’s father.

Suddenly, Maisy’s entire body trembled uncontrollably. “I don’t know what you’re talking about. I don’t know anyone named Mia! You got the wrong person. Let me go, or my family will realize I’ve been abducted and call the police. You’ll regret this.” She bluffed, hoping to

instill fear.

“Still refusing to admit it? Well, whether you confess or not doesn’t matter anymore.” Rex was infuriated by Maisy’s defiance. He already had the answer in his mind.

Aiken had informed him that the situation was dire–there was almost no chance Mia was still alive. It was just wishful thinking on his part.

He had cherished his beloved daughter, only to have her deceived and now lost without a trace. He was going to make sure Maisy paid for the loss of his daughter with all she was worth.

Maisy had yet to grasp the terrifying consequences she was facing.

After all, this was Jipsburg. Rex couldn’t do anything to her.

He couldn’t possibly kill her here in Jipsburg. This wasn’t some lawless place.

Just as she was still clinging to that slim hope, a sudden, sharp pain shot through her. Only then did she realize that her leg was injured.

Something hard, like an iron rod, had struck her leg with tremendous force.

Maisy cried out in pain.

“Who are you? This is illegal! Are you insane? I’m calling the police. They’ll come and arrest you. You’re finished, do you believe that?” Maisy’s forehead throbbed with veins, her face drained of color, and her whole body broke out in a cold sweat from the pain.

The person beating her seemed unfazed by her words. He raised the heavy club again and slammed it down with force. Maisy could even hear the sickening snap of her leg bone.

Then it was her hands, her arms–the pain slowly dulled until she could barely feel it anymore.

But the man beating her still wasn’t satisfied. He looked over at someone nearby and asked, ‘ Just don’t kill her, right?”
