Chapter 50 - Momentary Farewell
"I love you, sweetie," Lyken told her but she just frowned at him.
He held her hand as he drive back to her condo. It's already Wednesday and Lyken's packed with meetings the next day. Then on Friday, Jada's leaving for Brazil. "Why? Is there something wrong?" he asked.
"I'm just a little confused as to whether I'm your baby or your sweetie. Can you make up your mind?" she stated, creasing her forehead at him. "I feel like you have a baby and I'm your sweetie and you're calling me both so you won't get confused," she smirked.
"Pfft, you're talking nonsense. I call you that because I want to call you that," he told her simply.
She didn't respond and Lyken starts feeling nervous. They just made peace and she doesn't want them to fight again over something trivial. "Ja..." Lyken called when they reached her condo, but she didn't respond. She just remained quiet so he held her hand, "Sorry," he uttered. "Tsss..." then she withdrew her hand from him.
She sat on the couch then he sit next to her. Cupping her face, he forced her to look at him, "Are we going to fight over this? And just when you're about to leave, baby?"
"Now it's baby again. I'm sure it will be sweetie later," she snapped.
Lyken chuckled but she just frowned at him again, "You're so cute baby, I love you!"
"Shut up!" then she brushed his hands off her face.
She did it with an extra force so his hand hit her coffee table. It didn't hurt that much but she has to overreact to get her attention.
"Ouch!" he screamed, massaging it with his other hand. Lyken saw the worry on her face so he improved his acting. "Ouch, that hurts," he cried.
"Baby, sorry! Sorry, I didn't mean it. I just got irritated," she said in a panic as she checks on his hand. "Sorry, where does it hurt baby?" Lyken was shocked as he look at her, "Did you just call me baby?".
"Does it still hurt?" she asked back, ignoring his question. "Let me see, we might need to apply something or take you to a doctor," she added.
Lyken shook his head and cupped her face again, "So that's how you like it? You want me to call you baby instead?"This material belongs to NôvelDrama.Org.
Jada tried avoiding his eyes and when she was about to stand up, Lyken quickly pulled her by the waist. She landed on his lap and before she can refuse, he started kissing her.
She was pushing him lightly but he tightened his hug on her. Then she started returning his kisses, wrapping her arms around his neck.
She gave in and it turned him on so badly. Lyken wanted to take her right there and then so when she moved away to breathe, he let her go.
Lyken smiled while caressing her face. "I love you, baby," he whispered, and in one swift move, he carried her to her room.
They continued making out and when it ended, he told her he was leaving. He knows how she wants to rest because she still has things to take care of the next day.

And although he was against it, he can't do anything about that, for now. But of course, he has to start planning on how he can make her stop modeling.
Lyken knows he's being selfish at that point. But the more she gets exposed, the more clients will ask for her service and she'll be out of the country more often.
He can't let that happen so he has to act quickly. When she comes back, he's planning to ask for her hand in marriage.
Come Friday, Jada had to leave for Brazil. "Byotch hurry up! You're so slow! If I miss my flight, you're dead!" She threatened Bambi as it took him a while to get ready. "I'm coming!" he shouted back. "Don't worry about your flight, we'll get there on time. Lyken will make sure of that," he added as he roll his eyes at her.
When they came down, Lyken was already there, waiting for them. He hugged and kissed her before opening the door of the car for her.
"Are we going to eat first?" Bambi asked.
"No way! The time for us to eat was already consumed by the time you spent putting on your makeup!"
"Alright then, let's go!" he responded, pouting.
"Are you in a hurry to leave me, baby?" Lyken asked, pursing his lips.
Jada shook her head, "If only I can come back again tomorrow, I would!"
"Stop! That's explicit flirting!" Bambi called them off.
"Bam! Make sure to look after him alright? Especially when you go out. If I find out that someone flirted with him, I'll kill you!" "Nah, you don't need to ask someone to look after me. I don't have plans of going out while you're there anyway," Lyken refuted.
"Right! We can stay at your condo to drink, we don't have to go out!" Bambi stated as he twirls his hair around his finger.
"I agree with that. If you're going to drink, do it in my unit," then Jada turned to Lyken. "When you're there, sleepover okay? You know I don't like it when you drink and drive," she reminded him.
He nodded at her without taking his eyes off the road. There's no traffic so they'll make it to the airport in time, but Jada feels hesitant.
She suddenly thought of not accepting out-of-the-country events. She feels like she doesn't want to be away from him anymore.
As there were still 40 minutes left before her boarding time, they decided to enter a coffee shop. Both Lyken and Bambi can't stop reminding her of the things she needs to remember.
"You're suite is ready, by the way. I asked Mama Vane not to book a room for you because Lyken doesn't want you to share a room with anyone," Bambi informed her.
Jada turned to look at him and he smiled immediately. "I just want you to be as comfortable as possible, baby. I know your events are tiring so we have to make sure that you're well-rested and it will be a hassle if you're in a shared room." After a while, Jada needed to board the plane. She needs to leave. She let out a sigh as she stands up. Bambi then hugged her and Lyken followed. He even kissed her like he was reminding her that they only belong to each other. 'I'm coming back Ly, and when I do, I'm still yours.'
