Chapter 39 How Would You Thank Me
Chapter 39 How Would You Thank Me
At this time, there was a knock on the door.
She was startled, then turned around and stared at the door in front of her. She asked in an unsure
tone, "Mr. Terrell, is that you?"
"Are you very excited now that I’m here?" The person outside the door replied immediately, with a hint
of ambiguous smile mixed in his seducing voice.
Upon hearing the voice and tone of the person outside, Christy was very sure of his identity.
She was grateful, but also a little surprised and couldn't believe it. "Mr. Terrell, I didn’t expect you to Exclusive © content by N(ô)ve/l/Drama.Org.
come. Thank you for coming. Can you help me open the door? I’ll give you the key."
As soon as she finished speaking, she squatted and slid the key under the door.
"Thank you, Mr. Terrell."
"No worries. I didn't come for nothing."
A seducing voice came from outside the door. Christy was slightly shocked, and her big eyes widened
a bit. What did he mean?
Just as she was thinking about it, the door opened.
A pair of bright and expensive men's leather shoes appeared at the door.
Christy was squatting. Her eyes moved away from the mirror-like leather shoes, and she looked up.
Straight and slender legs. A dark black luxury slim-fitting suit that highlighted his handsome and tall
figure. A white shirt and a dark coffee-coloured tie brought out his mature, deep, fascinating, elegant,
noble, and charming temperament.
Looking at him standing upright, Christy felt as if he was a God from heaven.
Enrique looked at her in a condescending manner and smiled elegantly. "What? Are you going to kneel
and thank me?"
Christy came back to her senses. Just as she was getting ready to get up, Enrique suddenly leaned
over, wrapped his long arms around her slender waist, and helped her up.
Today, he was dressed very formal, even his hair was meticulous. His tie was upright and not sloppy,
as if he was going to attend some important event.
When he lifted her up, she almost fell into his arms.
Today, there was a smell on his body. In addition to the clear breath that he exuded, there was a
cologne that wasn’t too strong or too weak.
The combination of these two fascinating aromas seemed to be intoxicating.
Christy held her breath and was going to get out from his arms. Enrique's big hand grabbed her waist
with a bit more force and she fell into his arms again.
"I said, I didn't come for nothing." She heard his magnetic voice on top of her head.
Christy's heart trembled. She looked up and met his dark and narrow black eyes.
"What do you...what do you mean? What do you… want?"
Enrique stared down at her, curling his lips slightly. "What do you mean? Don't you want to hand it
over?"
"What... what to hand over?" Christy's eyes widened again in surprise. "Mr. Terrell, I am very grateful
that you helped me today, but didn’t you just say last night that I am not allowed to hand over myself
easily? Not even you?"
Enrique half-squinted his narrow eyes and stared at her meaningfully. "Did I say to hand over
yourself?"
"Not me?" Christy sighed in relief and asked suspiciously, "Then what do you want me to give?"
Enrique took her small hand and put it on his waist. "Aren't you going to return what you took from here
that night?"
With her small hand on his waist, Christy blushed from embarrassment and struggled lightly to take it
back. "What is it? Mr. Terrell, can you make it clear?"
Enrique's dark eyes fell on her small red face, and faintly said a word from his thin lips, "The
belt."
