Chapter 25 Going Alone to the Appointment
After the evening study session, Allison was ready to bike home. It was just a quick five-minute ride.
"Allison, I really wish I could live with you!" Mia sighed.
Allison ruffled her long hair and said, "You should hurry home!"
Mia nodded and left. Then Allison turned and biked away.
Just as she reached the entrance of her neighborhood, Allison's phone rang. It was Mia calling. Allison spoke first, "Mia?"
"Allison, Westside Warehouse, don't be late! And come alone. If you dare call the police, I'll kill her!" The laughter on the phone was chilling. Allison knew the voice all too well-it was Sophia. Allison's eyes turned cold. She was about to speak when the call abruptly ended.
Allison threw her bike to the side of the road and dialed a number on her phone. "Cleo, I need a phone location tracked!"
Cleo quickly sent the location. After checking it, Allison took a cab there.
Westside Warehouse was an abandoned warehouse. Mia was tied up and lying on the ground. When she woke up, she saw a dimly lit area and a wheelchair in front of her, with someone sitting in it. Mia asked, "Who are you?"
Sophia said, "What? Don't recognize me so soon?"
Mia was startled when she saw who it was.
Mia was puzzled. "Sophia? Weren't you sent to prison? Did you escape?"
At the mention of prison, Sophia went berserk and lunged at Mia's face. "Bitch!"
In an instant, Mia's face was scratched with several bloody marks. She had never been treated so cruelly and immediately started crying. "Sophia, you lunatic, I won't let you get away with this!"
Sophia sneered, "You won't let me get away with it? So what?"
Mia then noticed the ten burly men standing behind Sophia. Although Mia was well-protected by her family, being part of the Carter family, she still had a sense of alertness.
Mia said with fear, "What do you want?"
Seeing the fear in Mia's eyes, Sophia was delighted.
"Mia, what I want is to destroy you all. Don't worry, I won't touch you until Allison gets here!" Sophia wheeled herself towards the light, leaving Mia trembling in the dark. No one knew that Mia was not thinking about how to escape but was instead hoping, 'Allison, please don't come.'
Allison arrived at the desolate location by cab. Even the cab driver was concerned. "Miss, are you sure you want to get off here? This place has been abandoned for years. There's not even a cat around!" Allison nodded and headed straight for the abandoned warehouse.
She didn't rush in but first surveyed the area before appearing at the warehouse door. She kicked the door open, startling the people inside.
"Who's there?" Seeing that Allison had come alone, the burly men were surprised. "You've got guts!"
Allison glanced at them with disdain, asking, "Where's Mia?" The sound of a wheelchair approached. Allison frowned and was momentarily surprised to see who it was, but quickly regained her composure. Allison said, "Sophia!" Seeing Allison, Sophia's eyes were filled with hatred. "Allison, you came alone for Mia. You must care about her a lot!"
"Where's Mia?" Allison's eyes were blazing with anger.
Seeing Allison all riled up, Sophia felt a twisted sense of satisfaction.

The burly men shoved Allison into the warehouse and slammed the door shut, plunging the room into darkness.
With a thud, someone whacked Allison on the shoulder with a stick. She staggered but didn't make a sound. Seeing Mia, Allison rushed over. "Mia, are you okay?"
Hearing Allison's voice, Mia immediately started crying. "Allison, why did you come? She will kill you!"
Allison didn't respond, quickly untying Mia. Seeing the scratches on Mia's face, Allison's eyes turned icy. "Who hit you?"
Sophia sneered. "Of course, I did. Allison, now that you're in my hands, your fate will be worse than hers!"
Allison glared at Sophia, then whispered to Mia, "When the fight starts, find a place to hide. No matter what happens, don't make a sound and don't come out!" With that, Allison pushed Mia away. She turned and kicked the bodyguard who had hit her. She then took down several more bodyguards with a spinning kick.
Allison moved quickly, targeting weak spots on their bodies, rendering them immobile.
However, she soon realized these bodyguards were not ordinary thugs but had some combat training.
In terms of strength, Allison couldn't match ten burly men, but her speed and agility allowed her to quickly take them all down. Sophia watched in shock as Allison defeated all the bodyguards within five minutes.
By the time Sophia snapped out of it, Allison was standing in front of her.

Sophia asked in disbelief, "Who the heck are you? How did you get so good at fighting?"
Allison said, "Who I am doesn't matter, Sophia. Tell me, who put you up to this?"
Sophia gritted her teeth, her eyes filled with hatred for Allison.novelbin
"No one. I just hate you." Suddenly, Sophia pulled a knife from her wheelchair and lunged at Allison, scaring Mia, who was hiding.
Mia shouted, "Allison, watch out!"
But instead, they heard Sophia scream, "Allison, you bitch, I'll kill you!"
The knife didn't touch Allison. Instead, Allison had broken Sophia's wrist.
"Sophia, this is your last chance. Tell me, who incited you to do this? I know the Brown Family's current situation. You couldn't have hired such professional bodyguards on your own!"
Sophia, sweating in pain, glared at Allison. "I did all this, believe it or not."
Allison asked, "Was it Everett?"
Sophia hesitated, and Allison smirked, knowing she was right.
"Did the person who sent you tell you that if you help Everett win me over, he will definitely help you? So these bodyguards are from the Stevens family, right? Sophia, you still don't get who's really hurting you. You deserve to be stuck in a wheelchair for the rest of your life!"
Allison placed her hand on Sophia's knee and, with a crack, shattered her kneecap, leaving Mia in shock.
Allison comforted, "Don't be afraid. The police will be here soon. Mia, showing mercy to your enemy is being cruel to yourself!"
Patting Mia's shoulder, Allison turned back to Sophia.
"This is the price for hurting Mia. Sophia, hurting me is one thing, but hurting Mia means the Brown Family will never bounce back!"
