Chapter 31
Rachel
I left Vincenzo's room and walked down the hospital hallway, feeling a whirlwind of emotions. The lie I had told at the front desk was bothering me more than I had expected. There was something distressing about not knowing what would come next after that charade. I had said I was Vincenzo's fiancée so I could see him, and now I found myself anxious about what that lie might trigger.
As I walked, I tried to control my breathing, but nervousness was getting the better of me. My brain was overloaded with thoughts of what he might say or do when he saw me again. How was I going to keep up this lie? And more importantly, what did he expect of me now that it was only a matter of time before everyone knew we were "engaged"?
The atmosphere in the hospital felt oppressive. The smell of disinfectant was strong, and the fluorescent lighting in the hallways seemed even brighter than usual, intensifying my discomfort. Every step I took seemed to echo, and the sound of other staff members' hurried footsteps only heightened the sense of urgency and uncertainty.
Vincenzo's private nurse came over to me, and she seemed to have some request from him, her steps quick and firm, as if she had already been given an order. She looked at me with a neutral expression, but her eyes showed a hint of curiosity. "Mr. Vincenzo would like to speak with you again," she said.
My heart raced. The thought of having to face Vincenzo again made me even more nervous. "Thank you," I managed to say, trying to sound calm, even though apprehension was consuming me. With hesitant steps, I returned to the room where Vincenzo was.
As I entered, I saw Vincenzo sitting on the bed, his eyes a mix of exhaustion and determination. He motioned for me to come closer and leaned against the back of the bed. "Rachel," he began, his voice firm, "we need to discuss what to do next. The situation is already out of control, and we need to take advantage of it."
I looked at him with a look of surprise and confusion. "What do you mean by that?" I asked, my voice betraying a bit of my nervousness.
"I'm going to publicly announce that we're engaged," Vincenzo announced. His eyes were steady, and there was no room for doubt in his tone.
The news took me completely by surprise. "You can't do this!" I demanded, my voice louder than I intended. "We barely know each other, and this lie will only complicate things further."
Vincenzo didn't seem fazed by my reaction. He crossed his arms and looked at me with a determined look. "I can do whatever I want. After all, for a whole year, you belong to me."
His words echoed in my mind, and I felt a crushing weight. It wasn't just the lie itself that was troubling me, but the fact that, at least for a while, I was trapped in this charade. The feeling of apprehension was palpable. I didn't know what to expect or how this situation would evolve.
The thought of having to maintain this façade and what it meant for the future made me uneasy. Vincenzo seemed determined to go ahead with his plan, and I found myself in a position where I didn't have much of a choice. As he continued to talk about how the situation would be handled, I tried to process everything that was happening and prepare myself for what was to come.
Still reeling from Vincenzo's news, "Lock the door and come back to me," he said, I immediately turned to close the bedroom door. The click of the lock echoed, signaling the beginning of a new and confusing reality. As I walked back to the bed, the weight of the situation sank me deeper into bewilderment. Vincenzo sat with a resolute expression, while I struggled to process the enormity of what I had just heard.C0ntent © 2024 (N/ô)velDrama.Org.
The thought of being introduced as his fiancée, of having to maintain this lie, made me uneasy. How would I deal with this? The future seemed like a tangle of uncertainty. What did it really mean to be his "fiancée" for a whole year? And how would this situation affect my life? The worries piled up, and I wondered what my life would be like with this new and forced identity.
Vincenzo seemed so determined to move forward with his plans, and I felt trapped in a plot over which I had no control. Every thought about the future was accompanied by a feeling of helplessness and apprehension. I needed to find a way to deal with this new reality, but for now, all that was left was uncertainty.
I made my way back to Vincenzo's bed, apprehensive about what would come next. With a deep look and a heavy sigh, Vincenzo removed the blanket that covered half of his body and lifted the hospital gown, revealing his hard, throbbing cock. "Vincenzo!!" I said, scared and surprised by his unexpected attitude. "Your room is being monitored, look... there is a camera facing the bed, someone is watching you in this room."
"Right now, cover it up!" I exclaimed desperately, "Since we have an audience this time, why don't you give them a good show?" Vincenzo said, smiling maliciously and shamelessly.
I hesitated for a moment, my head was a whirlwind of information but almost in a snap of my fingers I remembered that I think about things a lot but at the moment Vincenzo is fucking me I can't think about anything else but the present moment and at that exact moment I needed to calm my thoughts and it seemed like he knew it, "Vincenzo...I...I'm embarrassed" I said as I looked at the camera that moved in my direction indicating that there was indeed someone or many people watching us, he called me closer to him and said "and doesn't that make everything better?" My eyes blinked erratically due to the sudden excitement that made my pussy contract and my body shiver, my mind was still a mess and now the feeling of shame possessed me since I had never had sex in public, my hands automatically began to tie my hair back, and my mouth began to fill with water.
