Going back to him
At the doctor’s office
“I’m sure you are surprised indeed. Your husband must also be very happy to hear this news. Please come for a check up regularly so that you can be groomed on how to maintain the pregnancy till delivery stage. Do you have any questions you’d like to ask me?” The doctor asked Mia with a smile on her face. Her confusion and that of Emma didn’t throw her into a bad state as she felt joyous for Mia. If only she knew she was not married.
“Thanks doctor, we’re leaving.” Emma said as she pulled Mia up from the chair and they left the office in a bit of a haste.
“So do you want to start talking now Mia? Whose child is it? You can’t tell me Wil…”
“Cut it out. I know where I need to be.” Mia cut Emma in as she didn’t want her to finish that statement which had Wilson inside. She just rushed to the car.
“Say what now?” A confused Emma was left with no choice but to follow her.
“Will you at least tell me what’s going on?” Emma asked Mia as she needed to clear her head but she was already asking so many questions at a time.
“Pull over at a coffee shop please.” She instructed the driver and he nodded.
“Oh no, this can’t be. This can’t be no, no, not him…” Mia kept on soliloquizing as Emma just watched her in total awe.
“I really cannot wait for us to drop so you can explain why you want to go mental.” Those were Emma’s words as I gave her a quick glance.
The driver pulled over a nearby coffee shop as she got down and went in. Coffee was brought to us almost immediately as. i just sat there, lost in the serenity of the place.
“So?” Emma’s voice brought me back to my senses.
“Okay listen, I didn’t tell you how I spent my days in Alaska after the incident with Wilson. I lodged into a hotel and went to the club downstairs where I met this strange man that wanted me to make his friend happy, in the sense of having sex with him. I turned him down but he offered me a large sum of money…” Mia started to explain when Emma cut her in.
“So you accepted it? Mia, come on!” Emma scolded her.
“Listen to me please, I didn’t accept it.” Mia continued.
“Oh thank God. So how did you end up pregnant?” Emma asked filled with curiosity and worriedness.
“The friend bumped into me when he was drunk and having no other option, I took him to my room and it happened.” Mia finally concluded as she sipped her coffee and looked away.
“What happened?” Emma asked as she rested her elbows on the table and opened her arms with her eyes bulging out and her mouth opened showing her white set of front teeth.
“We had sex.” Mia finally replied.
“Ooooh… okay.” Emma replied as though she was trying to figure out what she had just said.
“Yeah.” Mia replied.
“So what are we going to do now?” Emma asked her as they both sipped their coffee to the last end.
“I need to go and find him. I’ll catch up with you later.” Mia said to Emma as she got up and they both headed for the car.
“I’ll take a cab back home, all the best.” Emma wished Mia as they left their separate ways.

Back at Alaska;
Mia had already arrived at the hotel and went straight to the receptionist, requesting for the room she had lodged in that night but unfortunately, it was already taken by another guest.
“But did you see any man, tall, light skinned…” She was still describing Antonio when she saw the waiter that told her to take Antonio to her room on the night that they had sex.
“Hi, hi, excuse me please.” Mia walked up to him in a fast pace. She wasn’t running either.
“How can I help you ma?” He asked her as he then clicked.
“I remember you! What are you doing here? Did you forget something or you came to lodge here again?” He asked her with a smile and a bow as he greeted her.
“Good day, I actually came to look for you.” Mia replied in a rushed tone.
“Look for me? Oh, okay… interesting.” The waiter asked surprised.
“I mean I need a favor from you. I want you to help me please. I’m looking for a man, that man that you asked me to take him to my room that night at the club… do you remember?” She asked very confused as she tried all she could to make him recognize who she was talking about.
“Yes, yes I do. How about him?” The waiter asked her.
“Please can I get to know where he’s at? Like do you have any address or anything like a contact number that I can reach him with?” She asked. This waiter guy was her last hope of finding that man and she was very scared not to lose him.
“I can only give you his home and office address. Would that be enough for you?” He said to her as she nodded with a big smile of relief.
“Yes, thank you. Thank you so much.” She appreciated it as she took her to the bar and scribbled out the address on a small piece of paper then placed it in her hands and she left after thanking him.
“Antonio is his name!” The waiter said in a bit of a loud voice as she turned and replied with a smile.
On heading to the office address of which she believed she would meet him there since it was still working hours on a working day, she saw the company where he works at.
“Wow, well, with how richly dressed he was that day, I wouldn’t give a doubt of him working here. They definitely must pay well here.” She concluded in her mind as the car was parked a bit farther away from the company.
She was still feeling very nervous about meeting this guy. She picked up her mirror and added her lip gloss after which she smacked her lips repeatedly.Text © owned by NôvelDrama.Org.
She had already finished putting on her make up when she closed the mirror and was ready to get down from the car but something caught her attention. She heard two men having a conversation which caught her interest.
“The wedding venue for Antonio and Charlotte’s wedding is already booked. Let’s go and finish up with the cleaning later.”
“What marriage are they talking about?” She asked herself as she was a bit confused.
Hope it wasn’t Antonio that she was coming to see? Well, it must be done by a different guy. She just shrugged her shoulders as tried to get out of the car when she saw someone. She gasped in fear on seeing Charlotte standing in front of the office.
“What is Charlotte doing here?” She wondered as she got very scared.
“Turn around, let’s go!” She ordered the driver who started the car engine without asking further questions and zoomed off.
