To make up for the days that I didn't update, I'll be publishing four chapters today. Also, happy new month. I'll be ending this book this month and I'm hoping we have a new book by December.

BOOK 2: CHAPTER 56

Harriette's POV

The next minute, I watched as my bedroom door flung open and three people rushed in. I wasn't in my right senses yet as I stared at the screen even though it had gone blank now and Mother was no longer on the other end of the line.

"Harriette, what's wrong!"

I looked up slowly to see it was Alpha Darius staring at

Now, we had to wait in silence for her to get back to us. I bit down on my fingers as I wished Rowan would be fine. If anything happened to him, I didn't see myself being normal.

Luna Angela went downstairs to get me a cup of water and some snacks while Alpha Darius sat close to the edge of my bed and once in a while, he'll remove my finger from between my teeth and ask me to take deep breaths.

"Rowan is fine, I promise you,"

"She was the one who raised you, wasn't she?" He asked in a quiet whisper.

"And she's dangerous. How?"

Luna Angela walked in at the moment with a tray. I collected it from her and placed it on the table. I looked to Alpha Darius and he was back to his normal stoic expression.

The phone started ringing again and I grabbed it off the phone.

"We found him, Harriette. He's terribly wounded but we've taken him to the hospital and I'll call you later when he's done.

I grabbed Alpha Darius's hand out of nowhere and cried,

After I'd settled down a bit, still waiting for Mika's call again, I walked over to the balcony and sat there. A light knock on my door and Alpha Darius walked in. Once he sighted me on the balcony, he walked over.
