Master of his heart (Brielle and Max)

Chapter 1359

For the next few hours, Brielle was practically glued to him, her hand firmly clasped in his as they hit up a few more attractions with Isaac, finally heading back to Premier Palace, thoroughly content. As soon as they walked through the door, Brielle noticed the ice cream cake, now on the brink of melting, still sitting as the centerpiece of the dinner table.

Without even a moment to catch her breath, Brielle rushed to check on Max's condition.

"Are you still in pain? Tired? Maybe you should head upstairs for a bit of rest?"

Max, massaging his temples, simply nodded.

Not taking any chances, Brielle quickly ushered him upstairs. But what was supposed to be a rest turned into an impromptu bath time-how did that happen? After the bath, Brielle thought they'd just tuck in for a nice chat under the covers. But then she saw him fish out the bell from the night before.

Her face instantly flushed a deep red.

This was definitely one of King's quirky tastes.

Could it be that Max...

In the next moment, the bell was around her neck. She was so embarrassed she couldn't even look at him.

Max, holding her face gently, took a moment to admire her before opening the closet.

In his mind, King was absolutely losing it at this sight.

"Max, don't you go too far now."

"Max, those are my treasures you're messing with. You better not touch them, or I'm going to lose it."

"Damn it, what are you doing with the clothes I got for Little Canary?"

Despite King's protests, Max still picked out an outfit.

Brielle's knees went weak at the sight of the cat ears and the skimpy amount of black fabric.

This couldn't be happening.

"Max, how did you even know these were in the closet?"

Even she was clueless.

The only explanation was that King had sneakily bought them, plotting this for a while, probably fearing she wouldn't take it well. So, he started off with just a bell as an appetizer.

"Brielle, put it on."

Hearing those words from a man perched like a deity was overwhelming, to say the least. With trembling fingers, Brielle changed into the outfit.

But the cat ear headband wasn't on the bed; it was in Max's hands, his slender fingers playing with it, the sleeves of his shirt rolled up, revealing his pale, strikingly straight

wrists.

Seeing her dressed, he slightly raised an eyebrow in a way that was quite commanding, making Brielle blush even harder.

Max leaned in, deliberately placing the headband on her, completing the transformation.

This was Brielle's first experience with such role-play, feeling awkward and tentative, the bell around her neck chiming with every little movement.

"Do you look good?" he asked, right before sweeping her into a sudden kiss.

The mild atmosphere dissipated, giving way to a storm of desire that seemed to have been stirred from its slumber.

For two whole days, Brielle didn't leave the room.

At first, there were pleas, then tears, and eventually, she was left voiceless.

Now, the mere sound of a bell made her tense up.

When King woke up, he was greeted by the familiar ceiling. Realizing the other had already left, he was fuming, immediately trying to fouse Brielle from her sleep for another round.

"Brielle, don't sleep yet."

"Wake up."

"I have other outfits, Brielle."

But before he could finish, he found himself booted off the bed.

Hearing that tone, Brielle knew Max had left.

King, sitting on the floor, felt a surge of self-pity. If it had been Max, she definitely wouldn't have kicked him.

Damn it, what was so great about Max anyway?

After being tormented for two days, and not a single spot on her body left untouched, the realization that King had secretly prepared all these outfits made her livid.novelbin
